    Let your Originality soar.

As the nation’s flag carrier, we take great pride in connecting Britain with the world and the world with Britain.

It’s something we’ve been doing for over 100 years, ever since we launched the world’s first international scheduled air service between London and Paris.

This originality has been in our blood since day one. It’s the spirit we share with the people that fly with us, our partners, and our colleagues.

So, whether you are a reassuring voice on the end of a phone, a smile at the door, under a wing keeping the turbines spinning or landing us gently in far-flung places, a job at British Airways is yours to make.

We know great things can happen when you’re inspired to think big and bring your ambition to work every day, which is why, at British Airways the sky is never the limit.

    The role: Technical Engineer

At this time we are looking to recruit highly motivated candidates that will be joining our Technical Support Group (TSG) within the Engineering organisation. Our TSG engineers support the whole BA Mainline fleet as well as the BA Euroflyer fleet. The successful candidates will be offered a position based at the BA Engineering Base in Heathrow airport.

If you are passionate about aerospace engineering and should you be willing to take the challenge, this is an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career in a very dynamic and demanding role.

We are looking for licence engineers who have experience in aircraft maintenance (as a B1/B2 license holder) or experience in Engineering & Technical Support environments.

    • Responsible for following laid down technical procedures to deliver aircraft, engine and component technical, safety and cost performance targets along with continuous improvement of aircraft technical performance, engineering processes and procedures.
    • Hold and exercise EASA Part21 CCE or CVE approvals as required.

Please note this position is shift based roles. As your career develops in the Technical Support Group you will get the opportunity to participate in specialist training including type training, manufacturer delivered systems training and several internal career development options.

What you’ll bring to British Airways

Originality keeps British Airways soaring. So, you don’t have to like marmalade… or cups of tea… or actual sand in your sandwiches for that matter. And you don’t need to have a point of view on the Stones versus the Beatles, you just need to be yourself and bring:

    • Project management / prioritization
    • Team player with people skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a
    • high-pressure environment

From the day you join us, you’ll get access to brilliant staff travel benefits including unlimited basic and premium standby tickets on British Airways flights. You’ll also receive up to 30 discounted ‘Hotline’ airfares per year for yourself, friends, and family.
