Key Responsibilities
Technical Expertise & Support
- Liaise with Engine OEMs to resolve technical issues and manage support requests, including CSC cases and Technical Variances.
- Evaluate deviation requests and repair schemes, providing clear instructions for implementation in the workshop.
- Provide technical guidance to shop floor technicians, ensuring efficient maintenance and repair operations.
Workscope Development & Planning
- Assist the planning department in creating precise work instructions aligned with customer work requests for LLP replacements, repairs, and overhauls.
- Support the commercial team in evaluating new workscopes, identifying tooling, material, and labor requirements for accurate quoting and execution.
OEM Documentation & Compliance
- Conduct regular reviews of OEM documentation, ensuring compliance with Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins.
- Facilitate the implementation of manual updates and procedural changes within the workshop.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
- Work closely with safety and compliance teams, workshop staff, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination of technical services.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, optimizing workflows for increased efficiency and service quality.
Skills & Qualifications
- Relevant Engineering Degree or EASA Part 66 Maintenance License.
- Strong background in aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO).
- In-depth knowledge of OEM documentation, technical manuals, and service bulletins.
- Understanding of Part 145 and Part CAMO regulations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to write structured technical reports.
- Experience with CFM56 and LEAP engines (including workscope evaluation) is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
