Job Description Summary

Job DescriptionEssential Functions:

  • Create technical training programs in accordance with organisational requirements.

  • Work with cross functional teams to understand training gaps before defining go forward strategies.

  • Design and create course content for shopfloor, classroom and online delivery.

  • Schedule technical training for employees at all levels to satisfy internal procedures and meet requirements of all regulatory bodies including timeframes.

  • Deliver all technical training required by Caledonian employees.

  • Regulatory and some site-specific training will be classroom delivery.

  • Technical training including on job training will be at place of work where suitable.

  • Complete training documentation and record keeping I.A.W. company procedures and regulatory requirements.

  • Conduct analysis of course feedback and develop course improvement plans.

  • Assist the Quality function with tasks including internal auditing and employee competence assessments.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Applicants must have served a recognised engineering apprenticeship.

  • Some training experience is desirable.  Train the Trainer course will be undertaken by successful applicants prior to delivering training.

  • Ability to work as part of a team or own initiative when required.

  • Computer literacy is essential to the position.

  • Working knowledge in MS Office (especially PowerPoint)

  • Good organisational and time-management abilities.

  • Good communication skills and comfortable speaking to cross functional audience.

  • Applicants should be self-motivated to learn new processes and be comfortable working across different business functions where required.
