Job Title: Test Engineer
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension or transition to a permanent role. You will work in a clean, temperature-controlled FAA audited environment, responsible for establishing test procedures, coordinating the testing of Power Generation Equipment, and verifying and validating new tests. The work hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some flexibility and potential for overtime due to testing schedules.
Responsibilities
- Establish test procedures and coordinate testing of Power Generation Equipment.
- Manage testing projects within the scope of Engineering and Production.
- Verify and validate new tests.
- Test new products and develop systems to gather digital data during testing.
- Set up test chambers to test hydraulic and AC oil-cooled systems.
Essential Skills- 7+ years of testing experience in the Aviation Industry or a highly regulated industry.
- Experience developing, qualifying, and testing products.
- Experience troubleshooting complex aviation power generation systems.
- Knowledge of product testing, product development engineering, and quality engineering.
- Proficiency in hydraulic design, hydraulic modeling, and hydraulics maintenance.
- Familiarity with AC/DC motor control, test chambers, test cells, and thermal testing.
- Understanding of military standards (MIL SPEC, MIL STANDARDS, DOD), ITAR regulations, and aircraft systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Airframe and Powerplant License is a plus.
- Experience with Part 145/121 Repair Stations, instrumentation calibration, and electrical instrumentation.
- Knowledge of research & development, validation, power electronics, vibration analysis, and temperature controls.
- Experience with military aircraft systems.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
