- Plan, coordinate and manage the procurement, relocation, installation, and commissioning of tooling and calibration equipment to the new MRO site.
- Gather the calibration procedures for calibration, develop calibration plan and maintenance of tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Conduct tooling review and quality checks to confirm that tooling and calibration meet operational and safety requirements, including performing tooling registration and updating the master tool list.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to tooling and calibration equipment during the relocation and integration phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, EH&S and quality assurance, to ensure seamless workflow and equipment functionality.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors to oversee the timely delivery, installation, and certification of tools and calibration activities.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to tooling inventory, calibration schedules, and equipment performance.
- Establish training and support programs for staff to ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and calibration equipment.
- Support project timelines by proactively managing tooling and calibration activities and addressing any potential delays.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize tooling and calibration processes and contribute to overall project success.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling and calibration management, preferably in an aviation MRO or industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of calibration standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage complex tooling and calibration projects, including troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management software and calibration tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
