The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria. Main Requirements:

- European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old.

- Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any.

- Fluent in English.

A VIE is proposed to support digital transformation initiatives within the Engineering Retrofit Solutions fostered by the capabilities of India (Bangalore, India) to optimize the ways of working. Based in Bangalore - India.

Contract duration : 18 months

Starting date : 01/05/2023

This date is subject to flexibility due to country constraints and the health context related to COVID-19.

You will be part of the Airbus Regional Engineering Retrofit Solutions Office in India and will report to the Head of Maintenance and Retrofit Solutions in India.

In the 18 months missions, your main tasks and responsibilities will include :

• Lead the initiative to conduct business / process canvas workshops to identify areas of automation and digitisation within the Engineering Retrofit Solutions

• Support digital transformation initiatives within the Engineering Retrofit Solutions capability fostered by the capabilities of India (Bangalore, India) to optimize the ways of working

• Identify areas of automation and digitalisation and propose concept

• Develop solutions to improve daily business.

You are the person we are looking for :

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Graduate to a 5-yrs degree in IT Engineering or Computer Science (Master)

• Good knowledge of big data, standard softwares tools (Palantir Foundry & Data Visualization) and programming languages (SQL, Python,...)

• Excellent communication, excellent collaboration, Entrepreneurship, Proactiveness

• Experience in working in a multi-functional environment is a plus

• Negotiation level in English

Un VIE est proposé pour soutenir les initiatives de transformation numérique au sein de l’équipe d&39;ingénieurs pour les solutions de retrofit  (pour les avions commerciaux) afin d&39;optimiser les méthodes de travail. Basé à Bangalore - Inde.

Durée du contrat : 18 mois

Nous vous offrons une opportunité unique : 

Vous ferez partie de l’équipe régional d&39;ingénieurs pour les solutions de retrofit d&39;Airbus en Inde et vous rendrez compte au responsable du domaine Maintenance and Retrofit Solutions .

Actuellement, Airbus s&39;approvisionne en Inde pour environ 650 millions de dollars, dont 350 millions de dollars en services (ingénierie, informatique, numérique) et 300 millions de dollars en fabrication.

L&39;Inde est une destination privilégiée pour les services, utilisée par toutes les grandes entreprises du monde, tous secteurs confondus. Avec plus de 18 000 prestataires de services et le troisième plus grand paysage de start-up, l&39;écosystème est le plus vaste au monde, couvrant tous les secteurs verticaux, avec une croissance dynamique tirée par des capacités numériques avancées.

De même, dans le secteur de la fabrication, des capacités émergent sur l&39;ensemble de la chaîne de valeur. Les principaux groupes ont la capacité d&39;investir et l&39;appétit de développer leurs activités, directement ou par le biais de fusions et acquisitions. Les synergies entre l&39;ingénierie et la fabrication pourraient apporter de nouvelles solutions de conception à coût réduit.

Dans le cadre de cette mission de 18 mois, vos principales tâches et responsabilités seront les suivantes :

• Diriger l&39;initiative d&39;organiser des ateliers d&39;analyse des activités et des processus afin d&39;identifier les domaines d&39;automatisation et de numérisation au sein de l&39;unité Engineering Retrofit Solutions.

• Soutenir les initiatives de transformation numérique au sein de l&39;unité Engineering Retrofit Solutions, encouragées par les capacités de l&39;Inde (Bangalore, Inde), afin d&39;optimiser les méthodes de travail.

• Identifier les domaines d&39;automatisation et de numérisation et proposer un concept.

• Développer des solutions pour améliorer les activités quotidiennes.

• Diplôme de niveau bac&43;5 (Master) en IT Engineering or Computer Science
