Our client requires a Windows Engineer for the following role.

The role will be to look after a Dell Latitude Laptop that is connected to the rack which is connected to the submarines which will be collecting and sending data, etc…The laptop is currently 96 optimised and runs slow so the successful candidate will help with running and looking after it. The client normally runs off Linux but this is the only product using Windows.

The client requires someone to strip down the laptop of all the excess background processes to get the most out of it and prolong its life.

This role will be outside IR35 and will pay 50-70per hour. The role will be onsite full time in Cheadle, Stockport for 5 months initially but will be on ad-hoc basis with around 15-20 hours per week on average.
