• Duration: 1 year

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company&39;s premises. A working student&39;s main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

As working student you will support the department in the assembly and integration activities of a breadboard for a future space mission in the far-infrared wavelength range

• Support for test design activities

• Support in integration and assembly activities of the breadboard

• Support in test activities, incl. ambient tests and thermal-vacuum performance tests

• Support in documentation of assembly and test activities and results

• Support in administrative tasks related to database maintenance

• Enrolled full time student (d/f/m) within engineering (optical, electrical, aerospace) or similar field of study

• Basic knowledge of optical design LabVIEW (beneficial), CATIA (beneficial)

• Dynamic, proactive, engaging personality, organized with focus on delivery

• Experience in an international and multicultural environment

• English Fluent, German Fluent

• You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work independently.
