Join a team that develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication and evaluation of semiconductors. You will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes pertaining to semiconductors, and determine parts and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•  Monitor End of Line and intermediate station yields for trends and improvement opportunities.

•  Define and drive yield enhancement/improvement projects.

•  Collaborating effectively with internal teams about design & product/test specs to identify marginalities and potential failure points in production.

•  Strong data analysis and report editing/summarizing skill from large amounts of data.

•  Working with other production engineers to identify/eliminate defect source; designing and executing DOE experiments; interpreting and extracting data results and implement solutions.

 

 

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

 

MUST HAVE:  

•  BS in an Engineering, Math, or Science discipline

•  3+ years experience in assembly line manufacturing and associated yield improvements.

•  Strong data analytical skill with understanding of Applied Statistics as well as basic knowledge about Semiconductor Yield Analysis Model

•  Strong Yield Enhancement passion to filter out yield problems, work with cross functional teams to identify root causes, then propose solutions

•  Experience of analyzing data from raw data logs in Excel, Minitab, Python, or JMP and creating reports.

•  Ability to present concise reports to multiple levels of the organization.

 

WE VALUE:  

•  MS or PHD in Engineering, Math or Science discipline

•  Experience with Semiconductor Manufacturing

•  Six Sigma certification 

•  Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
