The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business within DRS has locations in Dallas and Austin, TX, Melbourne, FL, and Cypress, CA. EOIS develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles and airborne platforms. Job Responsibilities
- Maintain files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation.
- Assist in expediting orders and assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepare standard requests for quotation.
- Perform a variety of routine activities in support of functional areas such as production operations, engineering, or human resources for a specific project, business or a technical unit
- Gather, collect, record, track and verify data and information from multiple sources
- Compile, review and analyze data
- Use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations
- May design processes to enhance work flow
- Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures
- This position typically spends 70 of their time supporting the function
- Good understanding of general job aspects and some understanding of the detailed aspects of the job
- Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization

Qualifications
- Enrolled as Junior or Senior is a 4 years Bachelors program preferably in Business Administration or currently in an MBA program, with at least a 3.0 GPA
- Must be flexible and willing to move between projects and tasks quickly and as needed
- The ability to listen to others and to work well as part of a team
- Knowledge of office procedures and good writing and verbal skills
