This programme is designed to identify and develop talented Leaders for the Airbus Finance Community who will contribute significantly towards achieving our business goals.

The Finance NextGen Programme - sponsored by Airbus Helicopters&39; CFO - enables its participants to enhance financial know-how and expertise, combined with further learning in management and leadership competencies.

The mission of the programme:

Fostering and deepening participants’ financial knowledge and expertise on the Airbus world of Finance, enlarging the scope to the international financial context

  • Linking formal learning with rotating, real-business project assignments
  • Increasing participants’ project management and leadership competencies
  • Encouraging networking, job shadowing, mobility and cross-cultural experiences
  • Mentorship from a member of the Finance Top Management

This Program consists of two assignments in two different countries. Each assignment lasts for a period of two years. They are combined with off-the-job modules, designed to strengthen participant’s management and financial competencies.

FIRST ASSIGNMENT

Mission:

The key missions assigned to you as “Europe Region Financial Controller” include assistance with decision-making and providing support for steering and improving the financial performance of Europe Customer Centers.

This is an exciting position that enables you to be at the heart of the Europe Customer Centers Financial decisions. Directly witnessing the most critical financial issues we face every day, you will contribute to ensure coherence between Airbus Helicopters Strategy and Europe Customer Centers financial operations.

During your first assignment, you will work hand-on-hand with the Head of Finance of Europe Region, being accountable for delivering Europe consolidated Financial Reports covering business and financial analysis, contributing to any initiatives that popped up.-

You will be located in Albacete, in the premises of Airbus Helicopter Spain, which is the biggest Europe Customer Center, and being part of its Financial team.

Responsibilities:

You will be in charge of:

  • Supporting the preparation of the different Board of Directors (for the time being, 10 BoDs in a yearly basis), analyzing materials, understanding the different company context, the ongoing challenges and the decisions to be made in order to preserve the interest of AH.
  • Coordinating Europe Customer Centers to get the consolidated financial view to deliver Actuals, OP and FCSTs exercises as well as the Region Business Review presentation for Europe Region.
  • Participating and contributing to the diverse ad-hoc exercises carried out in the different CCs considering the specificities of each one.
  • Consolidating and reporting Europe Customer Centers saving projects, using the Score Tool to monitor them, and helping to define the annual score target.
  • Monitoring overdue payments and the recovery of critical and major debts, helping to define strategies and actions to protect Europe Customer Centers cash.
  • Defining and tracking actions to address risks and opportunities designed to minimize the negative impact of risk and capitalize on positive opportunities.
  • Contributing to the analysis and review of critical offers and business cases.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting minimum.
  • Advance in excel and power point.
  • Negotiation level in English as a minimum.
