Job Description:

The FP&A Analyst is responsible for assisting in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities to support the organizations strategic goals. This role involves analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing insights to senior management to aid in decision-making processes.


Essential Functions:

  • Conduct detailed analysis of financial data, including budget variances, revenue trends, cost drivers, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on analysis to support business objectives.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize financial planning software and tools to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounting, sales, operations, and marketing, to gather data, validate assumptions, and align financial plans with business objectives.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance financial planning and analysis processes.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting standards.
  • Ability to distill complex findings and concepts into key data-points and visualizations
  • Self-motivated problem solver with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Education / Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance

Experience:

  • 0 to 2+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, or related field.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment

Security Clearance:

  • S. Citizenship required.
