Job Description

Finance Intern

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Own reporting, variance analysis, and journal entries relating to variable cost.
Support operations team with data analysis, responding to financial inquires, reporting, and decision support as needed.
Assist in inventory counts and performing inventory reconciliations.
Own automation process of daily reporting to maximize efficiency.
Prepare month end balance sheet reconciliations.
Learn about internal controls and aide in preparation of SOX tests.
Assist with the preparation and review of company financial statements and statistical reporting.
Ad hoc responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Perform all aspects of the position according to the PCC Code of Conduct and SOX guidelines.

Required Skills and Experience Education:

Good working knowledge of all MS Office applications.
High level of self-motivation to perform and succeed.
The ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

Enrolled and in good standing, and completed 2+ years at an accredited university in Finance, Accounting, or a similar discipline.

Hourly rate: $25.00/hour
