Arconic is currently in search of Financial Analyst to join our Building and Construction Team in Springdale, Arkansas.

The Financial Analyst needs to demonstrate the following capabilities:
- Analytical mindset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (It is imperative for this position)

- Capex
The Financial Analyst provides support in the following areas:
- Ad-hoc cost analysis
- Monitoring and improving accuracy of daily reporting
- Supporting month-end close
- Supporting monthly forecast process
- Day to day responsibilities include:
- Creating daily reports showing key performance indicators
- Reporting daily P&L
- Maintaining scrap database
- Creating scrap invoices
- Monitoring cost for significant variances
- Recording intercompany freight charges
- Maintaining capital expense database
- The position is also back-up for accounts payable and payroll
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics is preferred
- 1-3 Years’ experience in similar role, but entry level with high ceiling considered
- Strong analytical and data gathering abilities
- Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to streamline functions and passion to learn and grow
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Comfort dealing with ambiguity and the ability to work independently
