PAL Airlines is currently expanding our finance team in St. John&39;s, NL and we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join us!

Job Duties:

• Investigate project variances and submit variance reports to management
• Assist in the preparation of weekly financial reporting, monthly forecasting, and annual budgets
• Assist with the ongoing financial analysis of business operations
• Assist with the development and reporting of key performance indicators for management
• Enhancement and continual improvement of reporting on business performance
• Assist in analyzing financial results of various business units, focusing on significant variances from fiscal plans and forecasts
• Analyze results against trends and benchmarks to find efficiencies and opportunities
• Assist in the preparation and analysis for bids
• Other duties as required 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor&39;s degree in business with focus in accounting is preferred
• Must be knowledgeable of financial concepts and preparation of variance analysis
• Must have an inquiring mindset with a focus on understanding business
