Join easyJets Group Financial Controls team as a Financial Control Analyst, a pivotal role reporting to the Head of Financial Control Improvement. Your primary responsibility will be to provide assurance and support to the Finance function, ensuring the effective operation and monitoring of financial controls. This entails partnering with business units to understand the financial control environment, maintaining process and control documentation, conducting testing of critical controls, and identifying deficiencies.
Youll play a key role in the annual financial statement mapping and risk assessment process, updating process documentation, and assisting in the development of testing programs. Additionally, youll support control owners in maintaining documentation, report on control attestations, and administer key risk and controls within the Risk and Controls platform. Your role will involve coordinating with external auditors, evaluating changes in processes and technology, and ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance Code requirements. Job Requirements:

What you need to do the role
We are seeking a professional candidate with a relevant professional qualification and at least one year of post-qualification experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to articulate risks, processes, and controls clearly. Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills are essential, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders of all levels of seniority. The successful candidate will exhibit excellent time management, organisation, and project management abilities. They must also possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the capability to summarise key messages, priorities, and actions for reporting to management. We value proactive teamwork and seek a candidate who can contribute positively to our team dynamics. Initiative, confidence in proposing solutions for continuous improvement, and experience with SOX/COSO internal control frameworks are highly desirable. Familiarity with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) systems is preferred.

LOCATION & HOURS OF WORK
This full-time role will be based in Luton and will be 40 hours per week. We support hybrid working and we spend three days per week in the office.
