The Finance NextGen Programme is an Airbus Helicopters development programme. This programme is designed to identify and develop talented Leaders for the Airbus Finance Community who will contribute significantly towards achieving our business goals. The Finance NextGen Programme - sponsored by Airbus Helicopters&39; CFO - enables its participants to enhance financial know-how and expertise, combined with further learning in management and leadership competencies.

The mission of the programme:

   Fostering and deepening participants’ financial knowledge and expertise on the Airbus world of Finance, enlarging the scope to the international financial context

   Linking formal learning with rotating, real-business project assignments

   Increasing participants’ project management and leadership competencies

   Encouraging networking, job shadowing, mobility and cross-cultural experiences

   Mentorship from a member of the Finance Top Management

This Program consists of two assignments in two different countries. Each assignment lasts for a period of two years. They are combined with off-the-job modules, designed to strengthen participant’s management and financial competencies.

Your challenges:

During your first assignment, you will be part of AIRBUS Helicopters Engineering controlling team.

You will be in charge of Engineering Performance management through Financial Reporting to Operational & Airbus Helicopters Management and Finance in a context of digitalization.

You will be accountable for the building and delivery of a set of Key Performance indicators per Metiers in correlation with the Engineering cost accounting model in complement of the existing Performance measurement system (Earn Value Management).

This perimeter will/may evolve over time.

Responsibilities:

You will be in charge of:

  • Do an ‘as is analysis’ on existing KPIs of main Engineering métiers (Design, model based system Engineering, Flight Test, test Benches, SW development & integration…) in relationship with all stakeholders (Business, cost accounting, Quality…)
  • Deliver a ‘to be’ set of KPIs with associated automation roadmap depending on the level of implementation complexity and buy- in from Stakeholders (Business, cost accounting, IM, Engineering Method & Tool, Engineering Cost model project…)
  • Depending on your performance, your soft skills and your capacity to develop a business vision, you will have opportunities to work on transversal projects (Finance digitalization)
  • Overall, measure business performance via collection, consolidation and synthesis of performance indicators. Manage performance through root cause analysis, risks/opportunities identification, recommendations in order to enable decision making.

Competencies:

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Financial master degree with a specialties / strong appetite for disruptive technologies and data-driven strategies (specialization/option in Data analytics would be a real plus)

  • Autonomy and ability to challenge stakeholder, service mindedness

  • Stick to commitments on time & quality

  • Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)

  • Good communication skills (ability to make finance important to non-finance people and to make complex issues understandable)

  • A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation

One or 2 professional experiences in Controlling/Cost accounting in Services/Industrial Sectors or Audit (from big 4’s companies) would be very appreciated.
