Pricing Executive -Moscow

Job Description:

Working under the direction of senior Sales colleagues, responsible to monitor, assess and analyse EK fares positioning within the market on a regular basis.

Assist the various market segments – Online, Tour Operator and Ethnic, in preparing tariffs and other related circulars as required by the travel agencies or commercial accounts.

Evaluate performance of segment tariff offers and recommend adjustments where required.

Study booking trends and flight loads and recommend appropriate strategies and fare products to optimize revenue during volume weak and peak demand periods.

To perform benchmarking of Emirates fares with competitors fares and tariff information on a regular basis. Provide summary reports of competitors’ activity including market share assessments and forward trends. Make recommendations as necessary to achieve revenue targets with optimum yields on a route by route basis.

Ensure all Russian reservations, ticketing and airport supervisory staff are briefed on pricing/tariff changes together with any marketing or tactical sales initiatives.

Liaise with Head office Revenue Optimisation department to obtain the necessary approvals for the fares to be able to achieve the revenue and yield objectives, providing support analysis and competitors information as necessary. Prepare and make the appropriate tariff proposals filing and control distribution of the approved fares.

Control implementation of agreed fare solutions via appropriate applications.

Conduct various administrative functions and other responsibilities as directed by the head of department.

Job Requirements:

Educated to degree level

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Tariffs and Ticketing in an airline commercial environment

A thorough knowledge of Fare construction, Ticketing and Refunds

Good analytical skills with proven ability to analyse data and prepare analytical reports, covering market shares and trends

Working proficiency in one of the GDS’s used in the Russian market

Advanced user of all Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel

Fluent in both spoken and written English and Russian.
