Pricing Specialist for Airbus Structure Parts (d/f/m)

Job Description:

We are currently looking for a Pricing Specialist for Airbus Structure Parts (d/f/m) to join our “Pricing Team” in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel. 

You will be part of the Pricing team within Satair which is a key team within Product Management. Our scope is global! We define and implement advanced price strategies and many innovative price-related actions and policies. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include

Your role will be to ensure our value based pricing is competitive on Airbus Structure Part (Airbus Proprietary Parts) product lines. This will be achieved through

• Processing of technical and commercial data to create market-oriented sales prices by ensuring an adequate margin

• Collection and analysis of internal procurement data 

• Execution and development of policies 

• Close collaboration with other Product Management Teams, Customerservice Procurement and Supply Chain Teams

Your future tasks

• ensure unit cost and price management for all related material categories

• ensure an adequate margin for Airbus Structure Parts / Airbus Proprietary Parts

• ensure sales price availability by using specific pricing tools

• manage customer quotations, set up reports and dashboards to control and improve the price availability and lead time to answer to quotes

• support the implementation and continuous improvement of processes for pricing, reporting or analytical purpose

This role will involve some travel for business (approx. once a month) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Equipped with a degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering (or similar e.g. Industriel Master / Technician) paired with first experience ideally in product management, aircraft production, aircraft final assembly line or procurement we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:

• You already have first hand experience in financial analysis and pricing.

• You have a good knowledge of SAP, ideally Skywise and Google Workplace

• You are an enthusiastic team player, pro-active way of working and business oriented mindset

• You are willing to work in a changing environment

• You are at a negotiation level in English and German, French language skills would be a plus.
