Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking an Experienced Procurement Analyst, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, working out of the Winnipeg, Manitoba office. The Procurement Analyst will join the Boeing Canada Supply Chain team to help develop, analyze and maintain processes, tools, information and industry best practices. 

The Procurement Analyst will be responsible for the design, implementation & support of our data systems, as well as leading deep dive analysis. You will work closely with business users, the Data team, and data analysts to design and implement architecture, tools, and processes needed to provide “single source of truth” reports to support data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate is proficient at working with large data sets, comfortable working in an agile environment, has experience working with UIs that make data accessible and consumable, enjoys the challenge of highly complex technical contexts, and above all, is passionate about data and analytics.

Position Responsibilities:

•    Develop data solutions end-to-end, from gathering requirements from business stakeholders to partnering with cross functional teams and other analysts to implement.
•    Data-driven and highly analytical - youre able to translate data and insights into a meaningful story to drive strategy, action, and decision-making at an executive level.
•    Define, instrument, and maintain new and existing business KPIs from scratch, leveraging SQL queries and beyond.
•    Defines, designs, plans and deploys internal/external projects. 
•    Develops processes and tools to measure key performance indicators. 
•    Extracts, analyzes and prepares reports to measure key supplier and internal performance-to-plan. 
•    Engage with cross-functional teams across various disciplines (Manufacturing, Fulfillment, Quality, Lean, and Engineering).
•    Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment and manage multiple projects with competing timelines.
•    Create actionable and user-friendly dashboards - using Cognos, Tableau or other tools - to surface business performance and scalable support data-driven decision making.
•    Develops, documents and implements processes and systems in support of company goals. 
•    Supports the development and implementation of strategies. 
•    Identifies and implements improvements to streamline and automate process flows. 
•    Distributes, updates and tracks procurement plans for supply chain integration and procurement analysis. 
•    Assesses and reports compliance to internal/external stakeholders. 
•    Develops risk mitigation plan.

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Winnipeg Location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

•    5+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain
•    3+ years of experience with database design, data modeling, or object modeling
•    3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence/data analytics tools (Microsoft Power BI, Dashboards, SQL, Tableau, Cognos etc.)
•    3 years of experience with Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP)
•    Experience using MS Office based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook etc.)
•    Must be able to travel up to 10 of the time to the US, must hold or have the ability to hold a valid passport
•    Must be legally able to work in Canada
•    Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
•    Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):

•    5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain or Procurement practices and processes
•    Post-secondary education
•    Cross functional experience (manufacturing, fulfillment, quality, Lean, and engineering)
•    Experience with preparing and presenting data to senior leadership 
•    Project management experience or certification

Typical Education and Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years related work experience, 10 years related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada.  Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
