Description:Lockheed Martin is seeking a Procurement Quality Engineering Associate Manager to lead within the Air and Commercial Services (ACS) market segment Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) team based at the RMS Orlando, FL site. This position requires up to 60 travel out of the assigned geographical area to support suppliers and customers across the United States and International locations. The position will require working flexible hours. The Procurement Engineering Associate Manager is responsible for the overall health and compliance of the key suppliers supporting various portfolios within the ACS market segment. This position is accountable for the deployment of best practices and assurance of consistency for supplier selection, management of supplier risk, proactive supplier audits, establishing appropriate monitoring tools and metrics (scorecards) to ensure that their products continue to meet or exceed acceptable performance thresholds in our ongoing drive towards zero defects within the RMS supply chain.

This position will be instrumental in execution of supplier quality management and mitigation activities on various programs including program areas such as Combat Rescue Helicopter (CRH), CH53K, VH92, F -16, and C130J MATS programs. While being responsible for training devices such as Weapons Systems Trainer (WST), Fuselage Trainer (FUT), Operational Flight Trainers (OFT), and other flight and maintenance devices. It will also require an individual who has demonstrated the leadership capability to manage at least 6-8 junior PQEs in a rapidly changing environment. It will serve as the leader role model for professional constructive communication with internal cross-functional teams supporting the ACS segment as well as external suppliers and customers.

Duties include:
1. Managing and influencing RFP activity, strategic supplier selection decisions SOWs/Specs, flow-down and acceptance plans to ensure alignment with requirements and total value to the business.
2. Participating in proposal preparation, proposal pre-work and post award execution.
3. Performing Supplier surveillance activities, conducting physical configuration audits, completing site surveys, and ensuring critical source inspections are performed.
4. Evaluating Supplier requirements and reviewing SDRLs.
5. Participating in customer acceptance testing and other customer/program management related meetings.
6. Drive standardization to assure adequate QMS, process, capabilities, and capacity in supply chain to meet requirements.
7. Serve as the lead, LM point of contact to the Program IPT identifying and mitigating supplier risks, leading RCCAs and providing creative solutions to problems.
8. Partnering with Program Managers (PMs) and senior management to ensure Quality resources and support are established and maintained on specific efforts.
Basic Qualifications:
- Understanding of AS9100/ISO9001 QMS requirements
- Must be able to lead and influence internal stakeholders and harmonize supplier selection, assessment, and monitoring processes across the lifecycle
- Full Mission (Pilot/Aircraft Maintenance) Experience
- Visual Display Systems Experience
- Familiarity with Avionic Systems, Flight Control, Fuel Systems Advanced Theory, Hydraulics, Landing Gear
- Experience leading a team consisting of technical individuals with diverse backgrounds
- Procurement/Supplier Quality Engineering experience
- Ability to develop a vision for an organization and develop and implement actions to achieve the vision
- Process improvement / process control experience
- Experience with Fixed and Rotary Wing Platforms
- Demonstrated ability to perform as Full Spectrum Leader
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships
- Experience working complex projects from start to finish
- Demonstrated ability to work at all levels of the organization to identify and drive systemic root cause and corrective action utilizing quantitative, qualitative analytical data to influence key decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed for collaboration, communication, and presentations.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
