Job Description:
Join our team as a Procurement Support, where you&8217;ll play a vital role in collaborating with the CSS Spares and Repairs Team. Your primary focus will involve managing customer repairs and spares procurement, aligning with the requests from internal project teams.
Responsibilities:
Purchasing:
- Process electronic and manual requisitions efficiently.
- Utilize SAP for raising request for quotations (RFQ).
- Create Excel spreadsheets to analyse data aiding supplier selection.
- Generate and manage purchase orders within SAP.
- Ensure timely delivery to internal customers by tracking order progress.
- Adapt purchase orders according to changing delivery forecasts.
- Maintain consistent dialogue with internal customers to uphold delivery forecasts.
- Participate in and support business operational reviews.
Administration:
- Coordinate with Bought Ledger and vendors to resolve invoice queries for accurate payments.
- Conduct data cleansing of SAP to ensure data accuracy.
- Perform quality assessment and measurement of suppliers.
- Distribute monthly reports to vendors, ensuring accurate annotations for delivery and quality purposes.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Proactive and flexible self-starter attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of SAP is advantageous.
- Education: Minimum basic secondary level education (Maths, English to O level/GCSE/NVQ).
- Excellent communication skills for maintaining relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while meeting deadlines in a professional manner
