The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join our Financial Accounting Team. This role is based in Brisbane.
Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge in Accounting and financial control and financial reporting tools
- Problem solving, drive for results and decision quality
- Strong focus on process improvement
- Strong excel skills
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Liaising with various areas of the business, both local and international
- Preparation of timely and accurate month end Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Experience in End-of-Year financial statement preparation
Experience/Qualifications
- 6+ years Accounting experience
- Accounting/Finance degree
- CA/CPA qualified
- Experience in a Big 4/mid-tier accounting firm coupled with experience across a large commercial business preferable
