Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Integrator to support our team in Tukwila, WA.

As the FP&A Integrator, you will be responsible for integrating the P-8 financials into the overall Mobility, Surveillance and Bombers (MS&B) portfolio and provide financial analysis and reporting to the MS&B FP&A Senior Manager, P-8 Program Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and MS&B CFO. Integration involves collaboration across multiple business units.

The Boeing P-8 Poseidon is an American maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft developed and produced by BDS, and derived from the civilian Boeing 737-800.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads, analyzes and presents the annual P-8 Long Range Business Plan (LRBP) and monthly forecast
  • Leads finance focal for the P-8 portion of the MS&B division for the integration of Military Derivative Aircraft (MDA) and MS&B portions of the financials and ad hoc analysis
  • Leads all aspects of the development and validation of all programmatic cost and fixed price billings
  • Builds, develops, integrate and complete project and process plans, implement policies and procedures and set operational goals
  • Provides ongoing recommendations and mentorship for contractual action items affecting fee, funding, financial Estimates at Completion (EAC) and new contract orders
  • Builds a culture of continuous improvement by communicating/deploying enterprise standard processes and employee engagement to improve quality, cost, delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Establishes partnerships and relationships with program leadership, peers and functional leaders

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in business related function (including but not limited to: Finance, Contracts, Estimating, Procurement Financial Analysis, Business Operations, Supplier Management)
  • 1+ years of experience using financial analysis for the purposes of decision making

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, business or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in the preparation of Long-Range Business Plans (LRBP) for a portfolio of programs
  • 1+ years of experience in creating a forecast
  • Experience working in cross-functional team
  • Highly motivated self-starter and self-directed learner with a creative mind, and high attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills to senior managers and/or executives
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Project
  • Familiar with supporting business cases
  • Experience with BDS financial planning
  • Experience with Boeing Commercial Airlines (BCA) financial planning

Typical Education/Experience: 
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $106,250 - $143,750
