The Boeing Company is hiring a Senior Program Financial Analyst to support the Experimental Systems Group (ESG) in Seal Beach, CA or El Segundo, CA.

This position will be supporting a multitude of programs for our government customers in a classified environment. Experimental Systems Group supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains, and is an extremely fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies including the worlds first fully autonomous reusable spaceplane!

The ideal candidate will have experience with:

  • Leading all financial management functions on a program

  • Developing presentations and presenting financial information to various levels of senior management

  • Working independently and with cross-functional teams

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages assignments and independently leads integration and analysis of resource forecasts and/or Estimates at Completion (EACs) for control accounts, budgets, functions or pools; financial EACs for contracts or programs

  • Leads or consults on the development of performance reports

  • Initiates assignments and independently leads integration of variance analyses and provides understanding of operational and financial performance to senior management

  • Recommends to senior management on financial performance and projections using extensive financial knowledge and experience

  • Directs or consults on the development of cost and/or schedule performance measurement baselines including earned value

  • Leads, analyzes and presents cases using appropriate indices to improve profitability and shareholder value

  • Consults on requirements definition and deployment of common systems, tools, processes and training to improve resource and/or business planning processes

This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active). This position requires the ability to obtain Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph post start.

This position requires a current Tier 5 (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) (U.S. Citizenship required) or requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelors degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field

  • 10+ years of experience in a Finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts, or Procurement Financial Analysis

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects or teams

  • 5+ years of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM), EACs, forecasting, resource planning, and cost management systems

  • 5+ years of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects with little direct supervision and drive project to completion

  • 5+ years of experience with financial planning processes and tools

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: $106,250 – $143,750
