Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:

Develop entry-level technical skills, regulatory knowledge, and problem-solving abilities.

Follow safety procedures and engineering drawings to prepare and fabricate furniture using laminates, veneers, and cap strips.

Utilize the material tracking system for parts requests, tracking, and work sign-off.

Maintain compliance with safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use protective equipment to safeguard aircraft interiors.

Assist with process improvements and other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Preferred: Experience in woodworking, wood finishing, auto body painting, or a technical certificate in cabinetmaking.

Completion of a youth apprenticeship program in the field is a plus.

Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Must be computer literate.

Able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift
