JOB TITLE: Cabinet Maker II

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Fabricate furniture and subassemblies using blueprints, specifications, and design drawings.
Assemble, pin, and glue cabinet shells; install hardware such as drawer slides, hinges, and latches.
Apply laminates, veneers, and cap strips.
Operate stationary and hand-held power tools for fabrication and disassembly.
Adhere to safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; use protective equipment as required.
Utilize material tracking system for parts requests, tracking, and work sign-off.
Collaborate with leads and senior technicians to implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Basic knowledge of cabinetmaking processes, products, and tools.
Two (2) years of cabinetmaking experience (aerospace industry preferred).
Familiarity with inspection and process specifications is a plus.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must be computer literate.
Able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift.
