Interior Aircraft Installer - Tampa, FL

JOB SUMMARY:

Remove existing interior installation on a wide range of Textron Aviation Aircraft. Accomplish interior refurbishment and/or modification activities on removed interiors. Re-install refurbished and/or modified interiors into Textron Aviation Aircraft typically in conjunction with maintenance activities.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work from aircraft orders, production inspection records, engineering orders and planning, to perform interior installations and adjustments of upholstery, furniture, and accessories per standard shop practices

· Support layout requirements and investigates installation details for unique or first time interior installations

· Complete varying levels of interior modifications on all types of Textron Aviation aircraft

· With some supervision, accomplish the desired end modification objective utilizing the most efficient and economical methods possible as directed by supervision

· Perform basic installation and refurbishment work. Assures installations and product inspection records, and parts tagging, are worked in accordance with Quality Control manual

· Keep surrounding work area clean emphasizing cleanliness of the aircraft interior and protection of customer property at all times

· Use of a variety of hand and power tools and basic measuring instruments

· Responsible for quality of own work

· Perform other related duties as required

EDUCATION:

· Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.

· Requires the use of blueprints, simple arithmetic, and simple measuring devices

EXPERIENCE:

· Experience in interiors installation, refurbishment, or modification is preferred
