Benelux Tek Aerospace, a well-known multinational company in the aerospace industry with operations in the United States is looking for the following position in Tampa, Florida, USA.
Position: Interior Technician
Location: Tampa, Florida
Responsibilities:
- The ability to layout and perform complex interior reconfigurations and repairs that are addressed in specific repair manuals and engineering documents
- Responsibilities include reading blueprints and tape measures to ensure project accuracy and completion.
- Ability to read precision measuring tools and instruments.
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, grinders, sanders, files, drills, and operate ovens.
- Layout and fabricate interior aircraft parts with standard sheet metal, and composite repair techniques; utilizing measuring tools such as calipers, dial calipers and scales
- Removing, repairing or replacing Seats, Lavs, bulkheads, doors, cabinets, windows and any other primary interior parts.
- Locate and span dimensions, layout patterns, and templates and fabricate parts, repair or replace skin and stiffeners, stringers, frames, brackets, fairings, and retaining strips, floor beams, extrusions and seat tracks.
- Able to fabricate parts as required and have knowledge of composites, fabrics, and other coverings, as well as where substitutes may be used.
Requirements:
3x2B years of commercial aircraft interior repair and replacement experience
Must have the minimum tools as required.
Must be willing to perform other functions and duties as assigned by managers and supervisors.
Must be willing to work any shift.
Must be willing to work overtime
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
