Advanced Configuration Management Associate
Cannonsburg, PA
Contract Position
$27.17-$32.17/Hour
Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate interactions between engineering, manufacturing, and program management to ensure changes are documented and controlled.
- Ensure configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorization.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Support, and Manufacturing teams to manage processes and design control.
- Facilitate and conduct configuration management audits, supporting product baselines and change control processes.
- Support the assessment of configuration management services and enforce compliance with industry and DOD standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, a technical field, or equivalent job-related experience (4+ years).
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.
- Experience:
- Proven experience in executing configuration management/change control in development and manufacturing environments.
- Strong understanding of DOD and industry standards for hardware and software configuration management.
- Experience with change control boards, approval processes, and comment adjudication.
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple product and allocated baselines.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Jira, and Product Data Management (PDM) tools.
- Experience coordinating process controls across various disciplines.
