Global Superior Personnel in Wichita, KS is looking for experienced people to work on a contract basis as Inspector - Fabrication/Assembly in the Air Capital. This position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits and per diem. Experience in the following is required.

• Level B1.
• Use and interpret drawings, inspection manuals and specifications, shop mathematics precision measuring instruments, specialized inspection machines, tools and equipment necessary to accomplish work assignments.
• Experience working with Quality Management System Policies andProcedures
• Working knowledge of Company Policies, Procedures and Specifications
• Overall working knowledge of production processes
• Contact other company organizations or customer representatives, as required to coordinate and accomplish work assignments.
• Good communication skills – written and verbal
• Good computing skills
• Operate testing machines, calculate and record results
• Maintain certifications as required
• Plan own sequence of operations
• Follow Inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes/parts/assemblies
• Verify that tools are qualified
• Prepare and maintain Quality records
• Work across equivalent or lower level Inspector job codes asrequired
• Cross-train in equivalent level Assembly, Composite, Metals, Process and Systems/Payload Structures Mechanic classifications

Qualifications Required:

• Prompt and on time daily
• Ability to obtain all required training certifications and maintain certifications while on assignment
• Must be available to work any shift- 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd shift operations
• Available for periods of heavy overtime
• 5 years’ experience in aerospace airframe assembly inspection
• Blueprint reading experience
• MS Office and SAP experience 
• Experience writing NCRs (Tags)
