Boeing Global Services (BGS) Repair Management Supply Chain Execution organization is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist based out of Dallas, TX. The role will support multiple phases of the Supply Chain Value Stream including repair, supplier relations, forecasting and component repair execution in support of Boeing programs. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on working directly with program cross-functional leaders to enable the Repair Management Execution business to meet organizational goals and objectives.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX
Position Responsibilities:
Prepares and executes request for material requirements
Resolves request for assistance within the Supply Chain value stream
Monitor and control timely processing of unserviceable and serviceable Return components from Customer to Suppliers, including items classified as Dangerous Goods
Perform tracking and tracing of urgent material requirements while continuously keeping the customer informed about status
Intervene as needed in Shortage and AOG situations by ensuring that the criticality/situation of the aircraft and customer’s operations are understood and action taken by the extended supply chain.
Coordinate with customer and Boeing functional teams to ensure schedule demands/Service Bulletins requirements are met.
Optimizes execution of the supply chain, balancing inventory, supply orders and scheduled demands
Monitor, analyze, identify trends and take action on Key Performance Indicators
Monitors performance metrics, performs trend analysis and takes mitigating action to meet performance objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
Prepares and distributes program reporting as required.
Enters, tracks, monitors and coordinates customer material and delivery requirements.
Provide program timely communication, leadership and continuous process improvement.
Adaptable, able to work in a constant change and fast paced environment.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
1+ year of experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations
1+ year of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or procurement practices and processes
1+ year of experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with stakeholders (i.e. customers, suppliers, peers and/or partners)
Ability to travel up to 10 of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years related work experience).
1+ year of experience with Tableau or similar data analytics tools
1+ years of experience in Aerospace Repair Management or Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) environment
Experience leading projects that require integration across business units and/or multiple functions
Experience working with SAP
Experience working with MRCM
Typical Education/Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
