Boeing Global Services (BGS) Supply Chain Planning Organization, is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) located in Hazelwood, Missouri. The Asset Manager will be responsible for leading the F-15 Qatar Spares Assurance Program (SAP) Repairs Statement of Work (SOW) as well as supply chain demand and forecast planning and execution activities. The contract supports modern service activity where operations are aligned to Performance Based Logistics support methods in Hazelwood, MO.
This position is expected to be 100 onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Hazelwood, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
The candidate will be involved in a multitude of supply chain related activities to include: customer demand review, forecasting assessment, ordering of materials, reporting on supply activity, strategy development for support of prime contract requirements, enhancing processes and procedures, and working across a multi-functional services team.
The candidate will also interface directly with the Qatar customer, work autonomously within the Boeing enterprise, and will need to have working knowledge, experience, and understanding of the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process.
This position requires a high level of personal accountability and responsibility.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
1+ years’ experience in finance, supply chain, project management, supplier management, or accounting
Proficient in Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) process
1+ years of experience working with asset management, forecasting, order management, expediting, supply chain software systems, supply chain modeling & simulation tools, enterprise resource planning systems and/or sales & operations (S&OP) processes
Proficiency and experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
Possess excellent communication skills allowing for cross functional interaction with the Customer, Program, supply chain, contracts, finance, engineering, and quality.
Position requires strong organizational, communication and presentation skills.
Experience with asset management systems & tools including supply planning & forecasting tools MS2, SPO, GOLD, TAV, WOW, COPPR, NWP and knowledge of Sales, Inventory, Operations and Planning (SI&OP) is preferred.
Position requires strong knowledge and experience in military supply support environment including demand and inventory management of company-owned material, customer owned material and program/contract material
Typical Education & Experience:
Typically 3 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
