What are your contributions to the team?
- Travel regularly to perform audits of special processes and Quality System at suppliers
- Evaluate suppliers conformity to manufacturing processes (special processes) requirements
- Review laboratory test reports from suppliers in order to approve their manufacturing processes
- Plan supplier evaluation activities in order to support all Bombardier programs
- Evaluate suppliers quality system for compliance to AS9100
- Evaluate manufacturing processes deviations requested by suppliers
- Actively participate and lead special projects to improve our internal business processes
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You hold a bachelors degree in chemical engineering, metallurgical engineering, or possess equivalent professional experience.
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in supplier audits for Quality Management System and Special Processes in aerospace industries
- You have experience related to the special processes for the manufacturing of aerospace metallic parts (heat treat, welding, shot peen, machining, assembly, chemical processing, corrosion protection)
- You have strong leadership, problem solving, flexibility and project management skills
- You have experience with suppliers interactions
- You have excellent knowledge of Nadcap, AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality standards
- You have knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Power Query, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Sharepoint) is an asset
- You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) both in French and English
- You must be available to travel
