As Buyer Accessories & Controls you will manage the buying process for a given set of goods and you will apply sourcing policy, interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets. In this role you will impact quality of own work and the work of others on the team and you will be focused on execution of standard enabling activities/provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline. There may be some latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing situations.Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
Place and follow-up on POs and manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
Manage problems, schedule changes and update ERP
Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy/strategy
Basic understanding of key business drivers
Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area
May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework
Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy/parameters
For supplier facing roles, develop strong supplier relationships and serve as the interface between supplier and GE
Qualification/Requirements
High School Diploma
Basic work experience in Sourcing/Buying/Procurement role
Proactivity, Customer orientation, initiative, autonomy
Ability to handle several activities simultaneously, manage multiple priorities and resolve appropriately
Professional working knowledge of SAP MRP software system
Highly motivated team member
Fluent Italian and English
Work Visa and Italian citizenship, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Autonomy in performing routine recurring activities
