Role Summary:
Essential Responsibilities (activities):
Manage the cost and quality of parts suppliers by issuing/managing purchase orders, maintaining delivery schedules, and establishing clear communication rhythms to ensure customer expectations are met.
Identify alternative sources for assigned components to secure the best market pricing and negotiate the best price with current suppliers.
Register suppliers in the system.
Send purchase orders with all necessary specifications and requirements.
Promote follow-up on quotations and purchase orders.
Act as a facilitator between technical teams, suppliers, and the import area.
Achieve deflation targets.
Develop and/or participate in projects aimed at productivity gains, cost savings, and/or TAT in both internal and external environments.
Manage the import process, including shipment authorization and documentation analysis.
Qualifications/Requirements (Experience/Education):
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Production Engineering. Strong quantitative and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Advanced English.
