JOB TITLE: CNC Machinist
LOCATION: Stratford, CT (Onsite)
PAY RATE: Up to $40/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Summary:

Set up and operate CNC and conventional machinery (mills, lathes, grinders).

Machine complex parts to exact blueprint tolerances and specifications.

Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality production and timely delivery.

Perform additional duties as required to meet manufacturing goals.

Requirements:

MUST BE US PERSONS

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Proficient in programming, editing programs, setting up, and running CNC or conventional machines.

Software Skills: Mastercam (1-2 years)

Technical Skills: Radio Frequency (RF) (1-2 years)

Desired Skills:

Certification from the National Institute of Metalworking Skills (NIMS).

Completion of a state-approved journeyman program or associates degree in machine technology.

Minimum of 1500 hours of training in machine technology.

Experience editing and programming ProtoTRAK, Siemens, or Fanuc controls using Mastercam.

2-4 years of machining experience with CNC and/or conventional machines.
