Job Description

Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

Responsibilities

• Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts.
• Conduct quality inspections on processing lines in accordance with quality specifications.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies.

• One-year experience in soldering/cable assembly.
• Good manual dexterity.
• Experience working with hand tools used in the assembly of cables and cabinet assemblies.
• Knowledge of cable termination including familiarity with crimping specifications and use of both automated and hand crimping tools.

• IPC-610 Certification
• IPC-620 Certification
• IPC J-STD-001 Certification

Work Environment

Huge manufacturing facility in Oldsmar that is highly regulated and safety conscious. The climate-controlled facility is air-conditioned and well-spaced out, providing employees with their own workstations. The work hours are as follows: 1st shift is 5am - 3:30pm, Monday - Thursday with Fridays scheduled off. 2nd shift is 3:30pm - 2am, Monday - Thursday with Fridays scheduled off.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position with a duration of 18 months based out of OLDSMAR, FL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
