Fabrication Specialist A

Contract Position
$21.63-$30.28/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Assemble composite and metal components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for precision assembly.
- Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment, adhering to safety regulations.
- Document assembly processes and maintain accurate production records.
- Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (technical degree or certification preferred).
- Experience:
- Previous experience in composite and metal assembly, preferably in aerospace or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with assembly techniques, tools, and fabrication processes.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Comfortable working in standing, bending, and kneeling positions for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and varying temperatures.
- Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of training programs (classroom and on-the-job training).
- Potential for overtime (OT) opportunities as needed.
