Our client is hiring a highly organized and detail-oriented Buyer/Planner/Logistics/Parts Person to join their team in Allentown, PA. This position would work very closely with the Parts Room Manager and the DOM.

Responsibilities:
-Manage the buying and procurement of parts to ensure timely availability and cost-effectiveness.
-Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to parts and inventory.
-Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, forecasting demand, and implementing inventory control measures.
-Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
-Coordinate logistics and transportation of parts to ensure timely delivery and minimize downtime.
-Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
-Monitor and analyze inventory performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
-Prepare and present reports on inventory status, procurement activities, and logistics performance.
Must Haves:
-Logistics/Purchasing/Marketing/Sales/Customer Service background
-Customer/client interfacing experience
-Must be willing to learn aircraft parts/technical knowledge
-Computer/Microsoft proficiency
-Ability to work 2nd shift
-Highly organized and detail-oriented
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
