Logistics Coordinator

Morson Talent are currently looking to recruit a Logistics’ Coordinator to work on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Central Repair Facility (CRF), Rollestone, Shrewton, Wiltshire

An opportunity has arisen for a Logistics’ Coordinator to join our existing team of logistics support staff at Central Repair Facility, Rollestone to provide support of the Cyclamen Project and Field Service Engineers for the Contract.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the control and management of Cyclamen Logistic and Materiel duties.
• Assisting in the Management of the movements of Cyclamen assets
• Manning the Central Repair Facility (CRF) spares store and assisting in accounting/stock control
• Issuing and controlling consumables. Managing the issue, replenishment, stock rotation and disposal of surplus or out of date products
• Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of stores/compounds in accordance with current procedures
• Stores delivery and collection
• Stores handling and operation of manual handling equipment.
• Packaging stores and equipment to approved standards for transit and unpacking stores for issue
• Upkeep and cleaning of storerooms to meet required storage conditions and to comply with Health, safety and Environmental requirements
• General logistic/materiel assistance as directed by the Central Repair Facility Delivery Lead

Essential Knowledge & Experience

• Familiar with stores, stock control and accounting procedures
• Good planning and time keeping skills
• Full Driving Licence
• Be willing and able to embark on relevant training as and when available

Desirable Knowledge & Experience

• Experience of working in a Stores / Logistics environment
• Forklift Licence
