Machinist Level 3
As a Machinist Level 3 here at Honeywell, you will play acrucial role in our manufacturing operations by operating and maintainingvarious machines to produce high-quality parts and components. You will workwith a team of skilled professionals to ensure the efficient and accurateproduction of parts according to specifications. Your expertise in machiningprocesses and equipment will contribute to the success of our manufacturingoperations.
In this role, you will impact the production process byoperating and maintaining machines, ensuring the quality and accuracy of parts,and contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Set up and operate various machines such as lathes,milling machines, grinders, and drill presses to produce parts according tospecifications
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments asnecessary to ensure the quality and accuracy of parts
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimalperformance and prevent breakdowns
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuringinstruments to ensure they meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolveany issues that arise during the production process
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean andorganized work area
U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS
Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.
YOU MUST HAVE
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a machinist,preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining various machiningequipment
• Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technicaldrawings
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
