Job Description

We are looking for Material Clerks to ship and receive parts, materials, cores, equipment and replenish inventory in the computer system. They will verify no visible damage exists to packages and ensure all items received comply with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability, including part number, serial number, and shelf life. The role also involves performing self-life audits, building or relocating shelving, and conducting cycle counts. This position is located at Van Nuys Airport.

Responsibilities

• Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
• Replenish inventory in the computer system.
• Verify no visible damage to packages.
• Ensure all items comply with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability.
• Perform self-life audits.
• Build or relocate shelving.
• Conduct cycle counts.

• Experience in handling parts and materials.
• Experience in inventory management, stocking, and cycle counts.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Great attention to detail.
• 1-2 years of experience in an inventory department or warehouse.
• Verifiable high school diploma (proof of diploma/transcripts required).

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.

Work Environment

You will be working indoors in a warehouse environment at Van Nuys Airport. The dress code includes a T-shirt, work pants, and close-toed shoes.

3rd shift position schedule is Sunday through Thursday from10:00pm – 6:30am. Will do training on 1st shift for first 1-2 weeks

Job Type & Location

This is a 1 year contract position based out of Van Nuys, California with a possibility of extension.

The pay range for this position is $24.75 - $24.75/hr.
