Job Summary

Follow standard work for material handling (e.g. receiving, shipping, warehousing.)
Perform all activities in accordance with safety and quality rules
Use adequate equipment (forklift, tow train) to move material
Records movements of material in the transactional records systems (e.g. receipt, booking.)
Make proposals to improve safety, quality, efficiency

This role may require specific accreditation to use specific handling equipment. The local job description must mentioned all necessary accreditation to use on site handling equipment.

Job Responsibilities

The scope of this role will relate to the following APQC subjects:

Manage inbound material flow
Monitor inbound delivery performance
Receive, inspect, and store inbound deliveries
Track product availability
Pick, pack, and ship product for delivery
Prepare package and shipment
Manage shipping, carriers, and fleets
Authorize and process returns
Perform reverse logistics
Perform salvage activities
Manage and process warranty claims
Locate stock
Prepare stock for movement
Physically move stock
Maintain inventory status
Perform physical inventory procedures

Job Requirements:
Job Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Must have 3+ years of driving experience
U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance and site SSA requirements
High School Diploma or G.E.D required

Preferred Qualifications

Must have a working knowledge of vehicle safety and control systems.
Must have knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection, and maintenance.
Must be able to sit and remain alert while driving for an aggregate period of up to 8 hours.
