Schedule: Monday to Friday, First Shift (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $49.63 per hour
About the RolePDS Tech Commercial is seeking an experienced Production/Material Planner to support supply and demand planning within the client’s Interiors division. This role is critical in improving systems and processes, developing financial sales and inventory forecasts, and ensuring predictability in business performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage scheduling and monitor production dates.
Plan, schedule, and maintain a sales plan and supporting production orders.
Develop and track work orders, ensuring accurate due dates.
Conduct Can-Build analysis for production planning.
Analyze material and labor availability for customer requirements.
Monitor customer demand and develop a level-loaded Master Production Schedule (MPS).
Maintain standard tools for managing short- and long-term Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) capacity profiles.
Optimize inventory levels to maximize service levels and increase inventory turns.
Lead cross-functional production meetings and communicate updates across teams.
Develop weekly and monthly sales estimates for assigned product lines.
Manage Item Master (IM) planning parameters for different replenishment strategies.
Oversee shortage management, ensuring proactive identification and resolution.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) by developing planning bills of materials and coordinating prototype builds.
Required QualificationsUniversity Degree with 5+ years of experience, Advanced Degree with 3+ years, or 9+ years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsAerospace industry experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in production/material planning and forecasting operations.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Basic understanding of bills of materials and engineering drawings.
Knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay Details: $49.63 per hour
