Our facility at Cape Canaveral, FL has an immediate opportunity for an entry level Manufacturing Support Team Member who wants to join our mission. What will a typical day in this role involve?

• You will support manufacturing shops with detailed planning procedures and production orders

• You will be responsible for analyzing drawings and schematics to determine proper building operations

• You will prepare detailed test plans in order to support functional testing of support equipment

• You will create service orders with detailed procedures for modification of existing equipment

• You will interface daily with internal and external customers to communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable partners

• You will implement, maintain and manage planning products in support of planning processes

• You will generate Purchase Requisitions and work closely with Subcontracts on the procurement of items

Our employees working in this level of position typically have 0-3 years of professional experience.
Basic Qualifications:
• Fundamental knowledge of planning principles

• Proficient with Microsoft Office products

• Strong communication (both verbal and written)

• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
Desired Skills:
• Ability to analyze and understand/interpret drawings

• Experience with SAP or other comparable enterprise resource planning tool

• Ability to apply manufacturing disciplines in creating detailed build orders for manufacturing shops from drawings

• Ability to create detailed planning orders from drawings or system/equipment level requirement

• Strong interpersonal skills and should be able to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment

• Should be able to operate independently with little supervision after training

• Strong analytical skills

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
