STS Aviation Services is rapidly expanding, and we’re searching for dedicated team members to join us on our journey as the leading UK MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) provider. Position Overview: As a Materials Coordinator, you will be a vital part of our Supply Chain operations, ensuring the timely procurement of all aircraft spares and services necessary for customer aircraft at our Manchester location. Your role will involve coordinating materials, parts, and services between Planning, Customer, and Engineering teams to meet project requirements. This is a dynamic position where you will be expected to manage supply chain activities and liaise with customers, ensuring their needs are met with precision and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

Stock Management: Oversee and manage all stock requests using PROMRO, ensuring timely action on all requests.
Procurement: Conduct purchases and release purchase orders, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely delivery.
Coordination: Regularly meet with customers to capture and action their material requirements, maintaining an accurate status of materials needed for each project.
Reporting: Provide detailed handover briefs between shifts and supply chain reporting as required.
Logistics Support: Stand in for Material Controllers at other sites and perform logistic activities as needed.
Customer Liaison: Maintain an accurate information flow between customers and internal teams, representing STS to the highest standard.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a similar role within the aviation industry.
Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising with customers and internal teams effectively.
Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Familiarity with PROMRO or similar stock management systems is preferred.
