What we are expecting from you
- Manage the daily activities of locations raw materials, component parts, equipment and operating supplies required for the daily production
- Provide support to production scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements
- Work with Value stream leaders to acknowledge all new customers orders
- Purchase and schedule movement of all required material, based on stock levels, customer requirements PFEP and shippnig and receiving requirements
- Responsibility for setting up clear operating procedures for material control processes to be executed
- Provide support to LEAN activities to achieve productivity improvements, inventory reductions and premier customer service, whilst maintaining quality standards through the deployment of the Parker LEAN System
Who we are looking for
- An individual with experience in an operational role, ideally in similar role/environment
- An individual with an understanding and experience using ERP systems
- A proven track record of continuous improvement
- Experience in LEAN manufacturing including Kanban, PFEP, JIT
- A willingness to travel (15 of the time)
- Educated to degree level or professional qualification equivalent, ideally with a business or engineering focus
Ideally, you will also have
- Strong stakeholder management with experience working with employees globally
- Broad understanding of supply chain management
- Project management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
