PDS Tech Commercial is looking for motivated individuals to join our client’s team in Carroll, IA as a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician (Calibrator). This full-time, 12-month consulting role on 3rd shift is the perfect opportunity to begin or advance your hands-on career in the aerospace manufacturing industry.

As a Mechanical Manufacturing Technician, you’ll be part of the team that ensures aerospace components meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. In this entry-level position, youll gain valuable training in calibration and mechanical assembly, learning how your work contributes to the safety and precision of aerospace systems.
What You’ll Be Doing
Train to set up and operate test stands for nozzles, spray bars, and valves
Learn to use laser spaners and printers per established procedures
Record and track spray quality parameters by serial number
Assist with assembly, repair, and disassembly of mechanical parts
Complete production documentation accurately and perform labor transitions
Follow safety (EHS), quality, and continuous improvement (CI) standards
Participate in safety and process improvement activities
Support production needs by working extended hours, holidays, or overtime as required
Required Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications
Background in manufacturing or assembly
Manual dexterity and ability to learn mechanical calibration tasks
Basic computer skills (e.g., email, printing, web access)
Ability to read and interpret prints and follow work instructions
Basic understanding of shop math and geometric tolerances
Strong problem-solving mindset and team communication skills
Eagerness to master role basics within the first 3 months

Pay Details: $18.00 per hour
