Job Title: Parts Specialist
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Parts Specialist to ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment, as well as replenish inventory in the computer system. This role includes verifying packages for damage, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability. Additional duties include performing shelf life audits and cycle counts. The position is located at Teterboro Airport, NJ, and requires candidates within driving distance.
Responsibilities
- Ship and receive parts, materials, cores, and equipment.
- Replenish inventory in the computer system.
- Verify packages for visible damage.
- Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies regarding quality, documentation, and traceability.
- Perform shelf life audits and cycle counts.
Essential Skills- 1-2 years experience with aircraft parts or auto parts.
- Computer skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Verifiable high school diploma.
- Willingness and ability to obtain DOT/IATA certifications.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience with inventory control.
- Handling parts and materials.
- Proficiency in computer data entry.

Work Environment
Work indoors in a hanger. The dress code includes a t-shirt, work pants, and boots. Available shifts include the 2nd shift (2pm-10:30pm) from Tuesday to Saturday, and the overnight shift (10pm-6:30am) from Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. The overnight shift offers a $1.00 differential.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
